Explore your roots in some of the actual places where the Apostle Paul walked in obedience to the Macedonian call. Christianity's entrance into Europe received its inspiration from this particular call which occurred during St. Paul's second missionary journey to Greece in the autumn of AD 48.

You will enjoy a unique cross-cultural experience located on the outskirts of Athens, at the halfway point of the original Marathon run, just a few miles from the beautiful Aegean Sea, the Greek Bible College provides a unique setting for study, complete with modern dorms on campus. Living and studying in the place where Paul debated the philosophers of his day, who mocked his talk of resurrection, will deepen your understanding of the New Testament, and increase your ability to communicate its message.

Athens today is an intriguing crossroads, with city and its inhabitants blending elements of middle eastern, Balkan and western culture. But beneath the flutter and flurry lies a beautiful Mediterranean warmth that will envelope you.

Choose from optional trips to archaeological sites, such as Mycenaean Tiryns, Nafplio, Epidaurus Theatre and Marathon. From the port of Rafina, only 15 minutes from this college, there are daily ferries to the islands of Andros, Tynos and Mykonos and more.

Typical weekends involve traveling, outdoor adventures, visiting museums and churches, volunteer work, walking tours and free time. There are a number of sites within walking distance from the center of Athens. Among them are the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, Mars Hill, Syntagma Square, Hadrian's Arch, Lycabettus Hill, Monastiraki, National Gardens and the Plaka area.
